March 23, 2023 – The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Renato U. Solidum Jr. was joined by DOST Undersecretary for Regional Operations Engr. Sancho A. Mabborang, Ambasador Bernard Dy, Mayor Caesar Dy Jr., ISU President Ricmar p. Aquino and DOST R02 Regional Director Virginia G. Bilgera in a Smart Talk with the press.
The event streamlined the successful collaboration and implementation of DOST, ISU and the City Government on the smart and sustainable community program.
This activity is one of the effective platforms of the agency to promote a holistic and collaborative regional and national development. This will also further recognize the efforts and commitments of communities in their transformation to becoming smart and sustainable communities based on the roadmap and defined milestone indicators.
With the media personalities present in the event, this will accelerate the promotion of S & T Products and Services in the country and become more visible in the STI Ecosystem.
